The Msgr. J.M. Hanson Council 5038 Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization that supports the parishes of OLIH, Saint Luke the Evangelist, and Saint Mary’s-Holy Cross along with the community as a whole.
Council 5038 meets the first Monday of every month in the OLIH Banquet room. Social hour begins at 6:00 p.m. Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and last approximately one hour.
Any Catholic gentleman age 18 and older is invited to join the Knights.

The 11th Annual Raffle for Life benefiting Dorothy's House is underway! Tickets will be sold before and after Mass beginning September 9-10 or you can buy your ticket online now.
The Raffle for Life has raised over $100,000 for charities benefiting young women and children in central Iowa. For the third year, proceeds will benefit Dorothy's House, a residential program assisting victims of Human Sex Trafficking .

Knights are Awarded
Iowa Knights of Columbus State Deputy Antonio Banuelos presented the KC Supreme International Second Place Award for Community Service to Msgr. J. M. Hanson Council 5038 based at OLIH, on October 9. Accepting the award was Past Grand Knight John Gaspari who organized the Rebuilding Together Greater Des Moines project completed by Council 5038.
