As Catholics, we are to faithfully attend Mass each week.  In addition, Catholics are obliged to attend church services on specific feast days, often referred to as holy days of obligation.  In the United States, there are 6 holy days of obligation. They are:

The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God
The Solemnity of the Ascension
The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The Solemnity of All Saints
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
The Solemnity of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ

2017 Holy Days

Mass for the 2017 Holy Days of Obligation will be held at 7:00PM at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart church on:

January 1, 2017 – Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God
May 25, 2017 – Solemnity of the Ascension
August 15, 2017 – Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
November 1, 2017 – Solemnity of All Saints
December 8, 2017 – Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
December 25, 2017 – Solemnity of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ


2018 Holy Days

Mass for the 2018 Holy Days of Obligation will be held at 7:00PM at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart church on:

May 10, 2018 – Solemnity of the Ascension
August 15, 2018 – Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
November 1, 2018 – Solemnity of All Saints
December 8, 2018 – Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
December 25, 2018 – Solemnity of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ
