Deanna Sargent
My family and I have been members at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart since 1996. My husband Matt and I have two children, Griffin (24) and Savannah (17). We moved to Ankeny shortly after getting married in Ames at St. Cecilia. Both of our children attended K-8 at St Joesphs and St. Pius X before becoming Centennial Jaguars. I work at Iowa State University as the Communications and Marketing Manager for Student Health and Wellness.
In addition to serving on Parish Council, I am a Eucharistic minister and active in the CEW community. I have also been a sponsor for the RCIA program as well as an RE teacher for many different grades over the years. Getting involved has blessed our family in so many ways over the years. OLIH was large way back when we first joined, luckily, as we became more involved the size of the church became more manageable as our church family and friends increased.
