Maintenance Technician
Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, Ankeny IA, is adding a full-time maintenance technician to our team of professionals. The position has competitive pay, along with health/life/dental benefits, sick and vacation pay, 11 paid holidays, and a 403b with match.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be attentive to details, and work responsibly with minimal direction to maintain general housekeeping in our church sanctuary, public spaces, rest rooms, classrooms, offices and grounds. You will assist with event set up, floors, vacuuming, sanitizing, trash removal, dusting/polishing and minimal snow removal (parking lots and sidewalks under contract) to include some weekends and evenings as needed.
The selected person will be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and have a successful criminal/employment background check post offer.
