PreK and Kindergarten

Students meet two Sundays a month during the 8:30 Mass September through April.

Grades 1-5

Students in this age group meet on either

• Tuesday (4:30-5:30pm or 5:45-6:45pm)
• Wednesday (4:10-5:10pm)

Cherub Choir (Gr 1-3) & Children's Choir (Gr 4-8)

If your child or children are in grades 1-6, are they interested in joining a choir at OLIH? There are opportunities for them to be part of a choir that is appropriate for their age group. Informational meetings will be held on Wednesday, September 16 in the church with Laura Kutscher, Director of Worship. During this time schedules will be provided along with information on rehearsals and Masses each group will be singing at. • Informational meeting for the Cherub Choir (grades 1-3): September 16 at 5:15-5:45pm • Informational meeting for the Children’s Choir (grades 4-8): September 16 at 6:00-6:30pm. Our first rehearsal will be on Wednesday, September 30. Cherub Choir from 5:15-6pm Children’s Choir from 6:15-7:15pm

First Communion

In order to celebrate First Communion, the youth must have

• Baptism information on file at OLIH prior to these celebrations
• Consistent attendance in faith formation classes
• Celebrated first Reconciliation

Below are important 2025-26 dates to put on your calendar:

Parents Only Meeting:  Mon. September 29 or Tues. Sept. 30, 7:00-8:30pm in the Banquet Room

Baptismal information: (if not Baptized at OLIH): Due by November 1

Parent/Youth Tour of Church: 3 opportunities, you only need to choose one — January 11, February 15, or March 1st from 1:00-3:00 pm

First Reconciliation: March 8th, 2:00 pm

Mandatory First Communion Practice: During FF Session, Tues./Wedn. April 21-22

Celebration of First Communions: April 26 at 1:00pm

First Communion assignment notifications: TBD
