Grades 9-12
Youth in grade 9 meet at Church in small groups on scheduled Wednesdays evenings, 8:15-9:30pm.
Youth in grades 10-12 meet in the homes of catechists or at OLIH depending on the preferences and availability of catechist homes on scheduled Wednesday evenings, 8:15-9:30pm.

Breakdown of Each Year - Grade 9-12

9th-10th Grade - YDisciple "Never Alone," Confirmation Preparation
This YDisciple series invites teens into a relationship with the Holy Spirit, addressing deep questions like identity, purpose, and belonging. Designed for small groups, it includes a conversation-driven video series & Bible study for the Confirmation preparation journey.
11th Grade - YDisciple
Fall – Overflow: Follows two young people exploring how grace is found in the sacraments, especially Confession and the Eucharist, through real-life stories and expert interviews.
Spring – Created & Claimed: A study on identity and Christian anthropology, helping teens understand what it means to be human and live in relationship with God. Themes include creation, redemption, and our ultimate purpose.
12th Grade - YDisciple
Fall – Known: Focuses on personal prayer and forming daily habits of prayer through both video and non-video sessions. Students explore different prayer styles and practice them in small groups.
Spring – In Pursuit: Follows two teens as they explore moral living and God’s plan through real-life stories and conversations with faith-filled mentors. Topics include fulfillment, healing, and freedom.
Scholarships - Will open Spring of 2027 (for graduating class)
Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart is proud to offer a variety of scholarships for high school seniors. All scholarships are awarded annually. Each scholarship is awarded once. Recipients receive one scholarship but are encouraged to apply for all scholarships.
APPLICATION DATES
All graduating 12th grade seniors are invited to apply. Applications are available February 1 and due by midnight March 31 each year, and can be submitted according to the instructions in each application. Any application received after March 31st will not be considered.
Please review the available scholarships and note that the LINKS to apply for each scholarship will not be accessible until February 1st. The candidates that are selected to be awarded these scholarships will be notified in April and will formally receive their scholarship from a representive of each of these scholarships at our "Senior Breakfast", following a blessing at the 8:30am Mass on Sunday May 16th! Our parish holds all of our 12th graders in prayer and are grateful for their active participation in our parish family!
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
OLIH FAITH FORMATION SCHOLARSHIPS
- Susan C. Roupe Faith Formation Scholarship Two (2)-$1,000 scholarships will be awarded annually to two seniors of the parish who have faithfully attended and contributed to the Faith Formation Program of the parish through grade 12.
- Ken & Bettie Purdy Memorial Scholarship
One (1)-$500 scholarship will be awarded to one senior of the parish who have faithfully attended and contributed to the Faith Formation Program of the parish through grade 12. - The Ron Fontana Memorial Scholarship awards one (1) $500 scholarship to one registered and active senior of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Parish who has faithfully attended and contributed to the OLIH Youth Faith Formation Ministry through Grade 12 AND who has maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. Applications are reviewed and the recipient is selected by the family of Ron Fontana.
- Ray and Margaret Yori $1,000 Scholarship One (1) $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one senior of the parish who faithfully attended and contributed to the Faith Formation Program of the parish through grade 12. This scholarship, named in honor of Ray and Margaret Yori, was established in 2025. Ray and Margaret were strong supporters of education. The winner will be asked to attend the May or June Catholic Daughters’ meeting. The scholarship funding comes from the Ray and Margaret Yori Memorial.
YOUTH MINISTRY SCHOLARSHIPS
- The Beth Meston Memorial Youth Ministry Scholarship
One (1)-$500 scholarship in memory of Beth Meston will be awarded to one senior of the parish who have faithfully attended and contributed to the Faith Formation Program of the parish through grade 12. Candidates will be contacted, once an application is received and will be invited to attend an in person interview. Family representatives of the respective scholarship being applied for will comprise the interview committee.

- Kay Boesen Memorial Youth Ministry Scholarship
One (1)-$500 scholarship in the memory of Lavina 'Kay' Boesen has been set up to honor one senior, who has spread the light of Christ to those around them and plan to continue their education and faithful life.

PARISH ORGANIZATIONS SCHOLARSHIPS
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #1945
- Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court (CDA) #1945 Scholarship One (1) $750 scholarship will be awarded to one senior from Our Lady's Immaculate Heart or Saint Luke the Evangelist parish who has faithfully attended and contributed to their parish's Faith Formation Program. Please note that applications for this scholarship are be sent to the CDA according to the instructions.

The Knights of Columbus Council 5038 Scholarship
The Knights of Columbus Council 5038 of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Church is awarding two $500.00 scholarships this year. Competition for these scholarships are open to 2026 graduating high school seniors who meet the following criteria: Each applicant must be a practicing, practical Catholic and must be a legal dependent of a Council 5038 Brother Knight in good standing, living or deceased. Please note that the applications for this scholarships are to be send to the KOC according to the instructions.
