Ankeny Summer Lunch Program
Do you know what Love Lunch is? It is a summer feeding program for children in our community who may not have enough to eat. During the school year, many children take home back packs of food from the school to supplement their meals over the weekend. During the summer, there is no lunch program. Several churches have joined together to prepare food and distribute it at two meal sites, Sunset Park in the west and behind Ankeny Presbyterian Church on the east side. OLIH supports this ministry by donating money and providing helpers. Any questions can be directed to Jan Brown, 515-250-3708 .
