Building the Heart of Ankeny is a community conversation on human service needs in Ankeny. This event is born from the impending changes to the site of most of our human services providers in Ankeny, the Neveln Center. The re-purposing of the Neveln Center back to Ankeny School System programs is a perfect time to re-imagine the future of human services organizations in Ankeny and how they can best be accessed and serve the growing needs of our growing community.
The people of Ankeny will meet on May 2 for education and discussion on the issues. You will hear stories and have a chance for input on the future of human service needs for Ankeny and North Polk County citizens.
