The communities of St. Luke the Evangelist & Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart will be holding their eighth annual Lady’s to Luke’s Bike Walk Run event on Sunday afternoon, May 19. The Bike Walk Run is a four mile journey where participants of all ages travel from Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Church to St. Luke the Evangelist Church—signifying the growth of the Catholic faith in Ankeny. Through this event, we strive to build community between the two churches while fundraising for our newest Catholic church and school at St. Luke’s. Our theme this year is “Jesus, Friends & Fun”.
As in years past, our fundraising efforts will continue growing our comprehensive science and technology programs that are utilized by the school to further enhance our student’s educational experiences.
