Attention all 9-12th grade students!!!!

What: Faith in Action (FIA)
When: March 14-17th, 2010

What is FIA? For over ten years young people from our Diocese have been putting their Faith In Action through participation in FIA. By being part of FIA 2010 YOU will have the opportunity to put your faith into action, learn about yourself, grow in faith and become more aware of and better equipped to respond to the justice needs in our world and community. Our experience will take us to the working poor, the homeless and the outcast. We will live, pray, work and play in Christian community. We will spend each morning and evening in prayer, work 6-8 hours a day and share meals, evening activities, have fun and grow in faith. This is an experience that YOU will never forget.

Registration applications were due February 1st.

YOUth Ministry News

YOUth Ministry invites 8-12th graders and their friends to grow in their faith and community by being active in YOUth Ministry.

Faith in Action - Eleven YOUth Ministry students will be spending the first half of their spring break putting their faith into action, learning about themselves, growing in faith and becoming more aware of and better equipped to respond to the justice needs in their world and community.  Please keep them in your prayers as they embark on this amazing experience.  More information about Faith In Action can be found on our web site.

Bibles and Bands - YOUth Ministry will be hosting Bibles and Bands on March 21 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.  Come enjoy live music in a coffee house atmosphere.

Pizza & Prophets – Come in and have pizza, pop and a good time before RE every Wednesday at 6:30 pm; stay for a prayer at Take 5 at 7:55 pm.
