Child Care Volunteers needed for SVDP Classes

St. Vincent de Paul is happy to be able to offer two classes at the facility on Sixth Avenue: We are in need of people to assist with caring for the children of the students on these nights at SVdP. If you can help with even one evening, please contact Carol Rude, Child Watch Coordinator, at 515.250.5465. Spending a little time with a little one is a BIG thing!
The first class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 7:30pm from Jan 2 thru May 10 and is a preperatory class for those wanting to take the HiSET (GED) class at DMACC.
The second class is held on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00pm from Jan 17 thru Feb 21 and educates young parents on how to develop good parenting skills.
