The St. Luke’s Family School Association is looking for interested businesses to market themselves to the local community by becoming sponsors of the Annual Green Par-Tee Golf Outing, an outing to benefit St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic School. Beginning Experience Open Houses
Fridays, August 18 & 25 and September 8 at St. Augustin Church Hall, 42nd St and Grand Ave, DSM, 7 to 8:30 pm.

Beginning Experience can help. You do not need to suffer alone. We have walked the path you are facing now. We are willing to walk with you on this journey to discover new hope and meaning in your life. The Open Houses give you the beginning steps toward healing, and are also an invitation to you to attend our Beginning Experience weekend September 22- 24. The Third Option
Do you want to put a little SPARK back into your marriage? Join our marriage enrichment ministry, The Third Option, the first and third Monday of the month from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Mercy Hospital Conference Rooms, 1111 6th Ave East Tower, DSM. A new session begins August 21. The Third Option is an on-going support group for marriages to help struggling couples develop better understanding, sensitivity and trust.
Bishop's Golf Classic
The 2017 Bishop’s Catholic Charities Golf Classic is Monday, August 28 at Echo Valley Country Club in Norwalk. Ankeny: Understanding Today, Preparing for Tomorrow
Is everyone who lives in Ankeny as prosperous as our growth suggests? Come hear the untold story of Ankeny. AMOS at OLIH will be hosting a community discussion on Thursday, August 31 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Banquet Room. The evening is titled Ankeny: Understanding Today, Preparing for Tomorrow. Tour of Scotland
The Newman Catholic Student Center at The University of Iowa is sponsoring a 12-day tour of England, Scotland and Wales March 9-20, 2018.
