Ankeny Circle of Faith & Habitat for Humanity
Through Ankeny Circle of Faith, a coalition of area churches, OLIH partners with Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity to create homeownership opportunities for low-income families. Financial donations are accepted year-round; please make checks payable to Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity and indicate Ankeny Circle of Faith on your memo line or accompanying note.
Our Habitat for Humanity ministry team seeks groups and individuals to help in a variety of ways. Opportunities include serving lunch, helping build or rehab houses, organizing fundraisers, leading prayer and more. Please contact Mary Reichter for more information.
Volunteers are needed to assist with home construction and providing meals for the workers as we build with Habitat for Humanity in Des Moines several days this spring and summer, starting April 24. No experience? No worries. Habitat staff and skilled volunteers will teach you how to perform tasks safely!
