Reception for the New Deacons

Three couples from our parish have been in the diaconate formation program for the past four years, Don & Julie Shannon, Matt & Stacy Halbach, and Greg & Vicki Kolbinger. Don, Matt and Greg will be ordained deacons on Saturday, August 4 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in West Des Moines along with 14 other new deacons for the diocese.
Join us as we celebrate their achievement!
Bishop Pates has made the assignments of the new deacons. Greg Kolbinger is being assigned as an additional deacon for us following his ordination. Don Shannon and Matt Halbach have been assigned to St. Luke’s. We congratulate all three of the new deacons and their wives as they complete the formation for diaconal ministry.
